What about Canva Elements ?

Whether you are working with a blank design in Canva, or you’ve already applied a template, you are going to need to add design elements to your canvas. It could be a graphic, a picture, or even a sound. Don’t worry, Canva get you covered. Just click the elements tab on the left of your design canvas, and type in the search box the design you are looking for,  et voila! You will have a variety of elements that you can choose from. You have to keep in mind that you will have 2 types of elements to use: free and paid elements, and both are of good quality.

So, in order to find the element you want, you type in the search box the keywords that are related to it. The elements you want to add are also organized in different categories. The ones we are going to talk about here, are: photos, graphics, videos, and audio.

Simply a photo of the element you are looking for. After adding these photos, you can edit them, and you can even add animation to them on Canva itself.

They can be static or already animated (as gifs). Some of them are color customizable, and some of them are not. You can change their size, and orientation, but only after adding them to your design. You can also animate them if you want.

When you want to add a graphic element, you can specify some of the characteristics in your search filter. So, for example, you can specify if you want a square, a vertical, or an horizontal orientation.

Videos with different durations, that of course you can trim. You can also animate if you want. But you have scroll down very far in the list of available videos to find the free ones.

Most of them are paid audio extracts. You can select the part you want from that audio. The duration is set to match the duration of your animated design.
