Create Youtube channel Art with Canva

You Have A YouTube Channel

You are passionate by old rare objects, you have a gift of finding the most valuable ones, and you want to share this gift with the world. So, you create a YouTube channel. To be unique, distinguishavel, visible and at the same time look professioanl, you have to create a YouTube Channel Art. This is the storefront of your channel. So, go to Canva, click on the + button and type in the search box "Youtube banner".

You will get several suggestions. One of them is a general YouTube banner. The other ones are Themed YouTube banners.



What's next

You select the theme that suits your channel the most, or you can simply select a the non themed design. This is what I did for this post. So you click on the "youtube banner" from the search results, then you can:

  • Select a theme, by writing some key words on the search box. I wrote "life style", and I selected the one below:
    • Null
  • I clicked on the image, then on the Edit Image button. I clicked on Photo Genic app from the side menu, and selected Stark from the Vivid group.
  • I replaced the frame, by typing "frame" in the search box of the "Elements tab", and I selected the Winter Floral Frame by sketchify. I changed the colors by selecting the ones extracted from the image.
  • I also changed the font, the color, and the line spacing of the main text. In fonts search box, I typed the word "hand", then I selected the Six Hands Chalk font. I also changed the alignment of the secondary text. The following image summarize all the steps:

Thoughts

If you want to create a YouTube channel art that takes into considerations the design elements that will actually be seen, wether the channel art is displayed on a phone, a computer, or a TV, I created this simple YouTube Banner Canva Template that you can use for free.
