What is Hushed App?

Hushed App is an application; available for both android and ios, that allows you to have a second phone number to use for calling and texting. Regarding the plan you pay for, you will be able to choose a phone number from more than 60 countries around the world.

So you will be able to make and receive calls; as you will do with any phone number, but there will be no relation between the provided numbers, and your own cellular phone number. So, regarding that, your calls and text are kept private.

So, while you are protecting your real number, you are enjoying the benefits of having a second phone number.

After signing up on Hushed, you will get an account that you can use to get as many as phone numbers you want, and on only one device. Your caller ID, will be simply the Hushed phone number that you used for your call.

But of course, to be able to use Hushed Services, you must have access to the internet, wether via wifi or data. It doesn't matter, as long as you have your internet connection. However, you can make calls using voice minutes, from your wireless plan (SIM card), by using the Hushed app routing feature. Your Caller ID, will still be your Hushed phone number. And can use it only for calls within the country of the selected Hushed phone number.

There are right know 3 different plans:

  1. Prepaid Plans: You pay in advance a predefined price for a Hushed phone number, that you can use for a limited period of time, and for a limited corresponding number of call minutes and text messages. However, you can extend the duration of your prepaid number, if you want to.
    You can pay for 7, 30, 90, or 365 days. The greater is the period selected, the greater the number of minutes or text messages you will get. And of course, the greater is the price.
  2. Unlimited Subscriptions: The scenario is different here. You pay per month or per year a predefined price. And in exchange, you will have unlimited numbers of calls minutes and text messages. But this plan is available only for US, Canada, and UK numbers.
  3. Pay As You Go - International Plan: You will be able to make international calls. But the texting is available only for US and Canada numbers. You can use Hushed credits directly from your account balance, with .00 included by default in your credits.

How to Pay

The payment with ShipStation is simple. Its a monthly subscription with different plans. The differences between plans can be related to these different elements:

  • The number of shipments per month
  • The number of users.
  • Availability of customizations. Branded is the term used for indicating not customized items. So, branded labels and packing slips are available in all the plans, but not the customization.
  • The type of support. You will have e-mail and community support in all the plans. Live chat support not available in the starter plan. And phone support, available only for Platinum and Enterprise plans.

There is also a feature that is not available in the starter plan, which is order import via csv. You have to check it out. And concerning the payments, you credit card may be used to pay for postage and optional services
